The year was 1942 and World War II was taking its toll in Europe. Felicity West had decided to bring her three daughters to America to stay with her good friend Samantha Ridley and her 3 daughters. The eight of them would live under the same roof until it was safe to go back to Europe. Fortunately, Felicity and Samantha had similar views on discipline and had a lot of experience with it in their own lives. They both knew that things may not be easy with six young women in the house. Rules needed to be followed or there would naturally be consequences.
