Maggy is sat in the garden. Out of her pocket she brings a small package. With a dreamy smile on her face, she rolls a cigarette and lights it. After inhaling deeply, she is so happy. Unfortunately it's bad timing because Headmaster Tom is looking for her, as dinner is ready. He calls her name several times, but there is no answer. So he comes out into the garden and finds Maggy zonked out. He feels her head, maybe she's ill, but that isn't the case. Maggy is a junkie. He knows just how to bring her out of it. Holding her up, he pushes and pulls her out to the shower and tells her to stand with her hands on her head. The icy cold water sobers her up very quickly. Then he takes her back indoors. She's shivering with the cold, so he hands her a towel. Ordering her to go to her room as she is to be punished. She's kneeling on the bed. The cane hits her hard and she screams out in agony. Then he changes to a thinner cane, that is faster and much more stingier. Still not satisfied that she's had enough, he instructs her to lie on her back and hold her legs up in the diaper position. He delivers the cane strokes hard and fast. Maggy is told to stay in that position and reflect on what she has done. Then she should come down to his office and they would have a discussion about her behaviour. He leaves her lying on the bed, tears trickling out of the corner of her eye.
