Overweight, pompous Colonel Kensington is having trouble with his maid. He lives in the past and makes her dress as a Victorian maid would. Only a big fat wage packet induces Lucy the maid to allow him to treat her as his worthy old grand-father would have done. One day, the Colonel is due at the palace to collect his gong, but the maid has forgotten to collect his penguin outfit. The solution is an immediate and brisk application of the birch; that is what the good Colonel proceeds to do. We see him apply the hairbrush to her bottom, then move onto the birch with great gusto.
